Week 13 Lookaheads
Four Bets I'm making for NEXT WEEK and which injuries I'll be checking my phone for tomorrow
Thursday Night Football hopefully shut up my two least favorite subsets of NFL consumers: the folks who think football isn’t as good anymore, and the folks who think we should have 31 domes.
Having a winning bet surely adds to the experience (2nd half double dip as well on the live stream), but either way that was just an awesome divisional game. The Browns did an amazing job of keeping TJ Watt mostly off the stat sheet and, despite a hell of a game by Russell Wilson, got a gritty, mostly meaningless win.
I suppose Baltimore fans are probably pretty happy as well.
Jameis Winston has the whole TNF crew making snow angels in celebration of a Browns victory.
Truly 1 of 1. 😂

Lookaheads for Week 13
Good news, I solved lookahead betting. I just need to figure out which teams are benching their QBs next week and which teams will be getting star WRs back. So from here on out, we’re on a gravy train with biscuit wheels.
Some kidding aside, it’d be great to find spots like that all year. Alas, I’ll just settle for things I think can acrue some value moving forward. No totals this week, but I do like four sides for week 13 already:
Falcons +1.5 - expecting this defense to be much healthier off the bye
Washington -7.5 +100 - Lattimore may be back; nice rest spot for the ‘Manders off a Thanksgiving win. Sneed now to IR
Cleveland +6.5 -115 - I wish I had grabbed the +7 yesterday before the win, but even without upgrades, I make this close +4 and think it’s another decent matchup to keep things close.
Indy -2.5 - The Colts should be an offense that gets upgraded by the market, and this should be a good matchup for them, even on the road.
Anthony Richardson’s 4th quarter highlights, he delivered when it mattered most

For This Sunday - Keeping an eye on:
weather
BOMB CYCLONE/ATMOSPHERIC RIVER on the West Coast is causing problems, should see some rain in the NFC West battle of Arizona @ Seattle
Nasty winds expected in the Meadowlands for Tampa @ NY Giants
Green Bay hosting San Fran may be a little ishy. Low temps with some rain possible.
It’s not looking terrible in Chicago right now, but the winds are projected in the 10-15 range and that can change yet.
injuries
A bunch of guys that may or may not play come Sunday that matter. This is the top of my list for names I’ll be tracking over the next 48 hours.
49ers: Brock Purdy, Trent Williams, & Nick Bosa. Three massive ones.
Eagles WR Devonta Smith
Tampa OT Tristan Wirfs
Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb & Brandin Cooks
Lions TE Sam LaPorta
The Bears offensive line + D’Andre Swift
Will Anderson Jr. among other Texans defenders
Panthers WR Adam Thielen
All the Raiders RBs and CBs
Giants DL Kayvon Thibodeaux
Last Week: Kansas City had the ball and a chance to at least get the teaser home last week, but it just wasn’t meant to be. I understand the Bills are good, but there wasn’t really a world where I thought that the KC defense was going to be what kept me from cashing that in. Miami and Houston easily covered their teaser legs last week, Cincy got by and Atlanta no-call/no-showed as a +2.
It’s funny that there are a few of the same names this week, with the Phins and Texans right there again. I think Detroit will be uber popular as well, coming off their demolition, and as an Indy ATS backer, maybe I try to thread the needle. The Chargers off a tough game worries me a bit if the defense can’t get healthy, and the Rams are always difficult to project, especially against a very good Eagles offense.
Miami -7.5
Houston -7.5
Detroit -7.5
Chargers +2.5
Rams +2.5
49ers +2.5 (if this comes back with any good 49ers injury news)
Bonus: Washington -10.5 or KC -10.5… Not as good as basic strategy teasers, but crossing the 6, 7, & 10.
See ya Sunday morning! Have a GREAT WEEKEND!
