Sunday NFL Bets

Five Sides and Totals I'll Be Sweating on This Crisp Fall Sunday

Getting back into the swing of things with some Sunday bets for week three! Best of luck to you this week (and better luck for me.)

Looking to build off a 4-1 record last week in the Circa Millions and our no-sweat* under in the 2nd half of the TNF game.

Cowboys -1

A terrible and beat-up Bears secondary versus the only remaining strength of this Cowboys team: a high-end 1-2 punch at wide receiver. While I still like this quite a bit, I do want to mention it’s been nothing but bad news for the ‘Boys over the past day, with Trevon Diggs now questionable with a knee injury and some sort of issue with the plane holding their flight to Chicago up. Still, there’s a good chance Chicago, as currently rostered, is the worst defense in the league.

Carolina/Atlanta Over 44

I mentioned this about 100 times this week, but I don’t believe that the Falcons’ defense is as good as things are looking on paper right now. I’ve also played some Panthers +5.5, but I like this angle a bit better, as I know that the Panthers’ defense is still very much in the early stages of a rebuild. Maybe I’m giving the Panthers offense too much credit, but star CB AJ Terrell has been ruled out, giving them a bit of an opening. Plus, the Falcons can finally make field goals again! (I would still prefer TDs)

Jets +6.5

Joining my guy Drew on this gross one. Yeah, it’s a backup quarterback going for the Jets, but he’s certainly one of the most experienced in the league, plus he SHOULD have a bit of a run game to lean on.

The main issue with this line is the cluster injury on the Buccaneers' offensive line, combined with the strength of the Jets' front seven. Additionally, it’s being reported this morning that rookie WR Emeka Egbuka could have his snaps limited due to hip and groin injuries.

Bengals +3

Another gross backup QB, but one who’s been with the team for more than three weeks. Browning has stepped in and run this offense before. Meanwhile, Carson Wentz was signed to the Vikes in late August and will be playing catch-up on the fly (with a decimated offensive line). We’ve seen Flores’ defense show some signs of life, but injuries along the front seven will make that harder and harder.

I like the dog here and played a bit of Bengals +140 as well.

TEASER: Green Bay -1.5 /Houston +7.5

Maybe this is a tough matchup for the Green Bay offense on the road, but conversely, I love their defense against Flacco/maybe Gabriel, and don’t expect them to need to score 30 to get the road win. (Plus good news: Tucker Kraft will play after all!)

Similarly, I like the road team in the divisional matchup in Jacksonville with another elite defense traveling to stop an offense that can do a great job of slowing itself down.

Player Props

Not my strongest suit, but I will be using 4for4’s Sharp Stack EV Tool to mash a bunch of unders. The key to doing this (betting unders) is to bet a dozen or more so that your brain isn’t able to remember them all and ruin watching the games for you. You simply check the accounts after dinner tonight.

Check it out if you’d like. We are STILL letting new users try it out for FREE for seven days. After that, you can use promo code DEEPDIVE for 25% off any plan over there.
